
Dr. Monica Lynott brings a thoughtful, patient-centered approach to dentistry, grounded in education, trust, and a deep commitment to community care. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry (formerly the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio), where she also participated in the Teaching Honors Program and graduated with Distinction in Dental Education—recognizing advanced training in teaching, scholarship, and academic leadership.
As a general dentist, Dr. Lynott enjoys providing quality, comprehensive care for patients of all ages. She believes every patient deserves compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to their unique needs. Her approach emphasizes patient education, trust, and empowerment, ensuring individuals understand their options and feel confident throughout their treatment.
Dr. Lynott views dental health as an essential part of overall well-being and believes great care goes beyond clinical skill—it’s about listening, building relationships, and creating a welcoming environment. She finds the greatest fulfillment in helping patients transform their lives, whether relieving pain, restoring function, or boosting confidence. She is particularly passionate about serving underserved and vulnerable populations, working to break down barriers to care.
Dentistry for Dr. Lynott combines science, artistry, and service, offering daily opportunities to solve problems, improve health, and make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives while building lasting relationships.
Outside the office, she enjoys reading, audiobooks, gardening, and neighborhood walks, and treasures time with close friends and family, including her husband, EJ, and their adopted Rottweiler, Genesis.
Community engagement is central to her professional mission. Dr. Lynott serves on several local boards and initiatives, including:
